- Jess MireauOctober 4, 2015Everything's great: bubble tea, bahn mi, vermicelli noodles, summer rolls. Personal favorites are the lychee bubble tea, grilled pork noodles, and the grilled chicken sandwich.
- jkhknycSeptember 14, 2016Best Vietnamese sandwich in Brooklyn and NYC. The grilled prom salad was amazing too. Great price, superb taste, happy place :) #hancos #vietnamesefood #grilledpork #goodeats #nyc #brooklyn #jkhknyc
- Jess ParrottMarch 21, 2017the vietnamese sandwiches are delicious, and feature some top notch fake meat! coming from a longtime veggie, it can be hard to find, but boy is it good. and the vietnamese coffee? impossible to miss!
- Mary M MottaJanuary 27, 2015pho is great! I like that it's delivered as separate ingredients so it stays fresh for you. don't forget the bubble tea 👍 sandwiches are great too.
- Ashley CraigOctober 15, 2014The shredded chicken sandwich with a passion fruit bubble tea makes for a fantastic lunch! Incredible authentic flavor without being too jarring for someone with a generally American-centric diet.
- Veg. Pork sand. Do it. Medium spicy is perfect if you like a bite w/o burning your mouth. Don't listen to the whiners who complain about speed of service. Go to McD's if you want a pre made sandwich.
- Galina OApril 20, 2014Hands down, Hanco's is the best not just in Brooklyn, but in the city as a whole. They use the best baguette and ingredients. Also, their bubble tea is very, very good!
- William JohnsonJuly 30, 2016Classic and grilled pork Vietnamese sandwiches are ridiculous. Their faux meats and pho soup are also on point. Original bubble tea is a little too sweet but no complaints.
- Shigeki AbeJune 10, 2013It's cool that you can eat & lounge around as well. Good place to eat & work or relax. Pho is good but not excellent. The soup is not as crisp & have a meatier taste.
- Rodney AAugust 28, 2012Been coming here since the This American Life podcast, I still think Hanco's banh mi is better than Henry's. Although, Henry's does offer a decent mock meat vegetarian version & Henry's doesn't.
- Caroline LeJune 25, 2016if I lived in Park Slope I would eat here everyday. the traditional banh mi was incredible and the iced matcha tea was delish
- Leah KoppermanNovember 5, 2014Get the salad with tofu for a vegan gluten free option. Tasty. And the bubble tea with sot milk is awesome.
- Ashley AlvarezMarch 1, 2017Matcha milk bubble tea plus the original Vietnamese ham and pâté banh mi is a match made in heaven
- Pete LudlowJune 7, 2013Classic was delicious. Everything a sandwich should be: lots of flavours, big, and good bread. Got 'spicy' and it wasn't too hot.
- Chris RiccaApril 12, 2014The wait here can be loooong. So if there are a lot of people standing around, be prepared to wait a while after placing your order.
- JessicaMarch 23, 2014Although there are no signs in the window, they do take credit/debit cards here. Tofu sandwich is the best!
- Order the classic and make it spicy. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Go with the extra meat if you are hungry. It's so good.
- justmushApril 20, 2013Vegan meat substitutes from may wah! They also have tofu for those who don't want wheat substitutes :)
- Classic sandwich w mild sauce. So mad I haven't tried this until now! Paired with an iced Thai tea...perfection
- I eat here more days than not. Literally. Every single thing on the menu is good, trust me, I've had most of it, and I've never once had trouble finding a seat/had to wait long for my food.
- The tofu sandwich rocks my world. Be sure to ask for them medium/mild though, otherwise be prepared to have your mouth set on fire.
- Lauren TracyApril 19, 2010Probably the best Vietnamese sandwiches I've ever had. The bread is soft, unlike most places I tried. The Classic sandwich is the best, in my opinion. My one complaint is that the Thai Tea was pricey.
- Best Banh Mi in Brooklyn, hands down. Also, the summer rolls are a great side.
- The grilled pork and shredded chicken sandwiches are heavenly. Order an almond bubble tea, less sweet to temper all that sriracha!
- Jessica NacinovichAugust 23, 2011So far, the best I've tried. Worth the trip to Brooklyn. If you're already on 7th Ave or Bergen Street, what are you waiting for?
- NetsirkAugust 13, 2015Good banh mi in the area but the "spicy" is mild if you're looking for spicy Vietnamese food.
- coughsodaJanuary 24, 2013Class acts. I had a full-cup bubble tea wipeout and they a) cleaned up the huge mess b) entrusted me with a new one. Tipping extra!
- The vegetarian chicken and vegetarian pork are both excellent. Get your sandwich spicy
- Design*SpongeMarch 28, 2011I miss Hanco's so much I could cry. Shredded chicken (spicy) sandwich and Jasmine bubble tea (extra boba) was my go-to lunch for almost a year.
- Ryan TateApril 18, 2015Great for a quick bite. Didn't get the appeal of bahn mi until I had their classic.
- ScanwichesJuly 29, 2011Classic: Roasted Ground Pork, Vietnamese Ham, Paté, Mayo, Butter, Cucumber, Carrots, Daikon, Cilantro, On a Toasted French Baguette. Read more
- Classic banh mi (spicy) and original bubble tea every time
- Jag FirerwalkerJanuary 12, 2016What a sandwich! No seriously. I still pick out pieces from between my teeth, as I just don't want to let it go. The only helped to ease the pain of letting go was the taro bubble tea
- Cheap, decent banh mi in the hood! I like the shredded chicken. They also have a whole wheat bread option, which makes me happy.
- The grilled chicken Pho is just fantastic, so is the tofu sandwich.
- Bubble tea seems a tad on the expensive side, good thing it's delicious.
- Steven WienerDecember 19, 2010Excellent! The classic is awesome! I agree with everybody that the spicy is pretty intense. I suggest medium or mild!
- Stick with the classic banh mi. The grilled meats are inconsistent and tend to be chewy.
- Raja HApril 12, 2014The most inefficient design for a restaurant. While you wait 25 min for your order, you'll hear 10 people ask where the line is for ordering
