- Serious EatsMay 13, 2014Take a second to admire the two murals that adorn the sides of the Walrus Beer Garden--one by local artist Henry, and the other a tribute to the neighborhood.
- They brew some damn fine beer here and have one of the best tap lists in town. Check out the coming soon section of the menu to plan your next trip.
- If you haven’t been here, you have failed. They were an amazing brew-pub, but the final last call was Christmas Eve 2018. Capitalism ruins everything!
- The Walrus Beer garden just opened, paying tribute to The Walrus Blues Tavern, which burned down in the same location 30 years ago. Great murals, including a legend that played there back in the day.
- Ligaya AndrewsNovember 16, 2013Good beer. Loved the root beer! Food over priced. We've had better burgers for less. They do overload you on fries thinking that makes up for it.
- Kristin SwanDecember 31, 2016Still one of the best breweries in Seattle! The beer is fantastic, the food is great, atmosphere, the service. Great board game-playing spot too!
- Eric VenkerDecember 2, 2013The namesake is the film noir classic, and everything inside is based on a cinema theme. Try the Big Lebrewski, an Imperial Cream Stout aged on Kahlua-soaked oak.
- Sean OJanuary 4, 2014They have anthem city cherry cider on tap. Delicious. Pork, arugula and goat cheese sliders were a bit bland and needed more goat cheese. Service was excellent.
- lanna rippOctober 12, 2011Food choices leave something to be desired (during kitchen renovation). Pickled hops shoots are magical! The servers here know their beer and are patient when you're trying to decide. Tip them well!
- Between the constantly evolving NC brews and extensive guest taplist, you're sure to find something you'll like.
- Make it a goal to never order the same beer twice - with their selection, its really easy to try something new each time you go! (try it with the food too, as the menu rotates!)
- Robert RadichMay 10, 2016Quite possible it's the best bar in Greenwood. Quality micros and has a cool crowd. Not too busy and hardly ever dead.
- Billy AmpJanuary 4, 2016That Big Lebowski will make you walk around the city naked. And you won't care because you have this beer in your hand! 🍻
- BlueHollyAugust 16, 2013the mung bean dip is so delicious. but order extra pita. and try it soon--before their menu changes!
- DillonAugust 29, 2014Tasty french fries and other delicious foods, like fancy corn dogs. A great selection of beers on tap. Nice place.
- Chuck DulaApril 27, 2012Eat the black truffle oil fries. Stop doing whatever mundane task you are carrying out, go to Naked City and eat these fries. Eat Fries.
- Great beer, sunny beer garden with some inebriated walruses. I had a great time here.
- Their BLT at lunch is great - grilled sourdough, thick bacon, lots of mayo.
- Zackary BrownMay 13, 2015Great beer options (typically in the guest taps). Food is overpriced and underwhelming. Recommend using the neighborhood to find better food options.
- Find your favorite local brew or even unheard of styles from Belgium from the rotating-tap menu. You could even select a bottle from their collection: ask for the "beer bible." Oh, there's also food!
- Order a "Rick Burger" with hand cut fries. One of my favorite fries in the city.
- Late October is Naked City's anniversary. So go in then through the holidays for their once-a-year brews.
- Jason CarlsonApril 28, 2009Have a hot pretzel with the great mustard & cheese sauce. Have a beer from their extensive rotating list or try the hard cider mixed with keg rootbeer special, it's good!
- The "Brother Orchid" brown ale is very delicious if you're a fan of newcastle or something similar. The 8.7% alcohol content doesnt hurt either. :)
- Beer heaven! Love the Dons, love the staff... makes me wanna quit my day job and shovel spent grains and be a brew helper.
- Hop GeekNovember 8, 2012Washington Beer Lover members, be sure to bring your passport to get a stamp.
- Best place to grab a beer in Seattle! Love the never ending selection of IPAs.
- On the weekend naked city beer growler fills are 9 bucks
- Cris DiFilippoDecember 5, 2009Try a wheat wine if they have one...think of it as a barley wine, an IPA, and a dunkelweisen all in one.
- Go to Naked City, sit at the bar and ask one of the Dons to recommend beers for you, they have a wealth of knowledge on fantastic beers.
- Kill the cask (order the last pint) on Thursdays and win a free growler with fill!
- Mr. HuzzfatherNovember 21, 2009Try the Snipes Harvest Fresh Hop Pale Ale. And to eat, the Buffalo Chicken is really good.
