- Jason LottApril 8, 2014By far the best Greek food in the District with generous portions and reasonable prices. My faves are the spanakopita and the pastitsio. Know what you want before you get to the register.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Tom MaxwellApril 7, 2018This is an awesome Greek lunch spot. Try the minced meatballs and a Greek salad. Owned by a Greek family that knows what they're doing
- Andrew ChristopherAugust 9, 2013daily specials are all great, but usually sell out quickly. A+ gyros and lamb. go for the platters: crusty, buttery homemade bread, orzo, and incredible olive-oil soaked green beans & stewed tomatoes
- R Derrick ThomasSeptember 3, 2013Be sure to know what you want when you step up to the counter. At busy times they don't have patience for you to stare at the menu while the line is behind you. They have lots of great selections.
- Derek FromsonJanuary 10, 2013Be prepared to wait in line at lunchtime for this takeout only gem. You can't go wrong, even if they run out of your first or second choice. I ordered delicious Greek meatballs (with orzo and salad).

- Elizabeth TerrellMay 11, 2012Regularly got the Gyro + Soup when I worked close. Avgolemono worth making a special trip for, excellent lentil soup. Mouthwatering platter specials. Great spot for home-style Greek takeaway!
- Do not miss this place, if in the area. Come early (preferably on a rainy day) or be prepared to stand in line. This is hands down, the best comfort food (delicious Greek!) around.
- Jasmine ButtolphMarch 29, 2016Her the spinach pie. Not the platter. The pie is huge and more than enough for lunch on its own. So good!
- Their breakfast pitas are delicious as well. Try them, nice to know they do more than just lunch.
- Aaron RosenbergMay 1, 2013Nice spot with super-friendly staff. Falafel was only OK, but I hear the more Greek dishes are awesome.
- Almas KebekbayevSeptember 12, 2013Any meal that goes for 9.99, and you will never regret for the rest of your life!
- Bennett RichardsonOctober 4, 2012The Avgolemono soup is a perfect cure for anything that ails you: cold, flu, hangover...it cures all.
- Meatballs in White Sauce is the best special they have. #amazeballs
- amazing! little hole in the wall that is really a little piece of Greece in Dupont circle!
- ᴡ SheaOctober 25, 2010the salmon is always a great option, but it goes fast, esp in lent (usually always available on Fri though)
- Best quick and cheap lunch in the K Street/Dupont area! Try the gyro platter! Amazing!
- Be prepared to stand in a long line if you go after 1130 and know what you want before you get to the front of the line or feel the wrath of Kostas! It's worth it though!
- Laurie MayersNovember 3, 2009The line moves fast! I got pork marinated in lemon & wine and green beans w peas & tomatoes. Fantastic food. Read more
- Waiting in the line (upto 15 minutes) outside the deli is worth it.
