The Dennis is a mega monster of the sandwich worthy for two. All the sandwiches are huge in general and worth every cent. Cash only and expect a line on the warmer days during weekday lunch hours.

Though you can depend on meatballs and just-fried chicken cutlets always being available, on Fridays there are warm seafood heros like the shrimp parm special, and it really was special. Read more

If you're looking for a meatball parm that's as Sunday Gravy classic as can be, with rich, bright sauce that highlights the slight sweetness of beef, this baby is the one for you.

Great old school Italian bakery with massive, delicious deli sandwiches. Don't miss the peppery lard bread with chunks of cured pork baked into the dough.

If you really want to treat yourself right. Ask them to make you an egg sandwich using their lard bread, not on menu, around $12 you can probably split it with a friend

This lard bread's meaty flavor and pronounced pepper bite rank it solidly in the Top 5 of our favorite lard breads in NYC.

Rumor has it there's a "Dennis" sandwich here. If so, this is my destiny. Even tho that's kind of a lame destiny.

Huge, delicious sandwiches carved to order. My picks are the Dennis or the Italian, but whatever you get, don't forget to ask for a pickle on the side!

Parisi supplies breads to many of New York’s restaurants, but neighborhood patrons are loyal consumers of their freshly baked rolls, baguettes and loaves.

Pay $11 for "the Dennis" - chicken cutlet, mozzarella, prosciutto. It weighs about 5 pounds and will last you 2 meals.
