San Franciscans nearly had a breakdown when La Boulange closed. But it's back in the form of La Boulangerie de San Francisco, and the signature almond croissants are just as good as you remember them. Read more

The hummus partine sandwich was absolutely delicious, refreshing and decent proportions. Also, get the iced vanilla latte on a hot day.

Excellent place to get breakfast. The bread is handmade everyday. They have a wide variety of choices, from fruit to different milk options. Their French toast is awesome.

Great breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Get the breakfast sandwich on a croissant - the regular bread they use isn't so great and won't hold the sandwich together.

Grab a seat on Union and enjoy the people watching. Stop by the Epicurean Trader for some tasty items to bring home.

They make great madeleines but the price of their salmon or avocado toast isn't worth it. It's good but it's one small slice that's too expensive. Outdoor seating and always busy in the morning

Cobb salad is excellent but ask for extra crumbled blue cheese. More meat than salad!

I keep coming back because it's decent coffee. But the food is going downhill. Used to love the quinoa & arugula salad... With warm poached chicken. Now it's just stuff pre made, cold and wilting :(

This is similar to its former self La Boulange but coffee is worse and young counter help not friendly-the older ladies are darling and warm but they need to teach the younger ones! No macarons either

For a cheap and delicious breakfast, order a baguette with a large cafe au lait. Sit at the table and enjoy free nutella with your baguette!

There's a 99.3 percent chance the baristas here will forget your coffee order and then you will cry in non-caffeinated defeat.

Now horrible. Menu changed this week & freshly made brunches are gone. Now it's soggy pommes v crunchy roasted potatoes & greasy croissant sandwiches with bland ingredients vs openfaced fresh ones.

Ask them to warm up the apple tart - its excellent! The french toast is OK. The drip coffee is strong enough to stand a horseshoe on its end!
