The espresso here is darker - it's the style you'd find in Italy, in contrast to saltier and more acidic espresso in other NYC coffee shops.

coffee is great - comes in giant cups! food servings are large. recommend oatmeal full of fresh fruit and grilled goat cheese and sundries tomatoes panini is AMaZing! the breakfast potatoes flavorful!
Forever and always my favorite cafe in NYC for chilling out and eating a good meal. In the winter I order the white mocha. Soooooo good

The croissants I bought here had a chemical product taste caused by a silpad baking mat used without pre-cooking -said the owner talking only of smell & underestimating the issue- portions are large! great coffee comes in huge cups! grilled goat cheese sundried tomatoe panini amazing. oatmeal full of fresh fruit.

I'm a fan of the iced tea varieties and the carrot cake cupcakes. Lots of Frank Sinatra music playing in the background.
Get a spinach, mushroom, and sweet onion frittata. Out of this world, and incredible deal for 8.50
I disagree...The cranberry tart is amazing, perfect for the people who want dessert but not something overly sweet and perhaps... Tart? Altho if you're looking for sweet their red velvet is A+

Ask if you can put the milk in your coffee yourself - they always put too much

Stick to take-out or delivery. The table service is abysmally slow, even when the place is less than half-full.
