Supposedly, "The Best Cuban food in Los Angeles!" (Local legend) El Rincon Criollo on Sepulveda "was" the best Cuban food in L.A. (lines out the door) until their lady cook left and opened Versailles.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their Lechon Asado w/ plantains. (Beans are AMAZING!), followed by the Lomo Salteado then, their Camarones de Ajillo. their desserts taste like any other of the same name! Yucca Fries

The lunch specials are a good size and most are around $10. The parking lot can be difficult especially the part in front of the restaurant.

Everything is awesome but you got to have the dish roasted chicken with garlic mojo! Dive into more interesting dishes such as the oxtail! You will not regret it

Its all about the mojo criollo sauce...or rather the garlic sauce. Buy extra and keep it in the fridge to have with other kinds of chicken. Its ghetto fab but you'll appreciate it. ;)

Highlights: shredded pork, garlic grilled chicken, plaintains, and empanadas. Ask for extra garlic sauce on the side ;)

The huge hunk of yucca in the vegetarian entree may pale in comparison to the garlic chicken, but it's a tasty alternative!

There are three locations. This one is the better of the three. The crowd is suspect at times but I have never seen any problems. Service,food awesome! Inexpensive to boot._

Get the pork/garlic chicken combo if it's your first time but the chicken will steal the show. Then go to the gym to burn off all that delicious oil that your plate is soaked in.

Everyone raves about the garlic chicken but the liver and onions is Ah-mah-zing. Try the rice pudding also!

They have a garlic chicken lunch special - same as the menu item but smaller. A perfect size. Order with white or dark meat and plantains.
