Angelina S.April 20, 2014Even if you're from out of town, Red Ivy is a popular place. The dance crowd doesn't get in til around 11PM at night. Red Ivy has muti-colored HDTV screens playing the latest mainstream music videos!
Dress to impress and you should have no trouble getting into this bar, especially with an ID, by going in through the back (sports bar) side. Don't bother with the front the lines too long!- This is a great place to go dancing on the weekends because the music is decent and it has a MUCH shorter line than Barleycorns!
- Always go in on the sports bar side to avoid the line! It's SUPER crowded on Friday and Saturday so get there early!

You know the stuffed peppers favorite? Yeah, NOT worth the $8. Five puny peppers on two toothpicks.

Daniel HSeptember 16, 2012Red Ivy is definitely upping its beer game. And it's open before everyone else on Cubs game day.- This place is a pretty decent place to watch the game... they've got lots of TV's and they have the volume up pretty loud.
Everyone that works here is a dick every time I've been here. Shame, they have such a good location.
- Watch out for thieves! I had my wallet stolen there last weekend and a friend had her iPhone stolen the same night!
Nick LloydSeptember 15, 2013The worst service I have ever encountered. Granted, they were busy, but standing around for 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge your existence is kind of absurd.
