The Pug is an H st staple. Make sure to try the Jameson. It is delicious. Don’t ask about the AC. It’s a sensitive subject. Enjoy the Bruce Springsteen if Russel bartending.

Only one choice of red and white.- The best way to cure a hangover is bottomless mimosa's and the all-american breakfast, comes with cheesy eggs, hangover hash, two sausage links, and biscuits and gravy. You can't go wrong.
A necessary contrast to the uber-professional DC bar scene. They'll usually be playing Flogging Molly or something similar. They carry a mix of craft beer and the cheap stuff. You can have fun here.- Fantastic dive bar. Good bartenders. Hot cider & root beer cocktails are great.

The staff produces an entire food menu courtesy of a Foreman grill #Impressive. Oh and try the Black Out Punch, it got its name for a reason. S/O Billy and Jason!
Bill MulhollandNovember 13, 2013Tuesday at The Pug are epic! Billy pouring drinks, Chef Marcus making impalocos! Impalocos are bags of fretos, Cheetos , or Doritos filled with pork or chicken or chorizo . Soooo good
I actually really love eating brunch here. Bottomless mimosas and half smokes for a very reasonable price.
