The omakase here is insane. Maybe best sushi I've had in the USA. Be sure to ask to try all the diff types of uni & eat something that's been blowtorched. (pic = wagyu, btw)

Go to Akiko's for incredibly high-quality sushi, sashimi, & rolls. They even import fish from Tsukiji Fish Market in Japan. Don't miss the Rainbow Roll and read all about it on WinstonWanders below!! Read more

Blindly follow the omakase: beautifully fresh fish, lovely preparations, the right balance between tradition and creativity.

Our regular omakase spot in the city. Chefs are always pleasant. Fish is always fresh and delicious. Sushi bar seating is limited. $$$$ but worth it for a nice occasion. Reservations recommended.

Fresh, yummy sushi rolls. Great 4 piece nigiri, miso soup, katsu with rice combo for $19. Feels like you're in a small sushi bar in Tokyo. Great place for a date or catching up with a friend.

Fresh fish flown in daily from Tsukiji market, Japan. I had the best hotate IN MY LIFE here—it just got in from Hokkaido and wasn't refrozen yet! Get the tasting menu—you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely incredible sushi! Best I have ever had. Most of what we ate was the chef's choose sashimi and sushi and it was the freshest, tastiest, melt-in-your mouth fish that I have experienced.

Fish from all over the wotld. Just because it's maguro does not mean it's the same tuna... ask the chefs what's new in fish, and the waitstaff what new beers snd sake they have.

The spicy tuna roll was fantastic - probably the best I have had anywhere. High high quality tuna. The salmon was fine. The Hamachi was disappointing but sushi overall is clearly of the highest order
