- Hannah NicdaoJuly 6, 2018Best wonton noodle soup & pan fried noodles in NYC. Been coming here with fam since the early 90s when they were on Mott. They’ve since moved to Mulberry but took their iconic Hawaiian tees with them!
- George KaraganisApril 22, 2013Would not call the staff polite but the food is fantastic! Recommending the duck (the little pies made my eyes water), the sesame shrimp and the vietnamese noodle pork!
- I love ❤️ this place. So glad they’ve reopened post-pandemic. Ignore decor & grumpy waiters who hardly speak English - the food is fresh & delicious. Best Har Gow dumpling 🥟 I’ve had in a while. Yum!Upvoted Feb 6
- These old guys don't care about anything but noodles and wontons. They do it well. I always get Beef Stew & Big Wonton with Shanghai or Cantonese Noodles (S17). They usually include tip on the check.
- James FiglarzMay 14, 2017Great food, fast service, and low prices can't beat it. I asked for something extra that wasn't on the menu for my meal and they were happy to provided. I definitely will be back.

- Wesley BlissJuly 26, 2015One of the best beef soups I've ever had in NYC. Their wontons are also great. The soup base is unique, hearty, and satisfying.
- BonNovember 14, 2013Beef tendon noodle soup & fried tofu puffs. wontons are just ok. This is where the original wonton garden team decamped from the old Mott st location...word on Chinatown streets travels fast.
- Monserrat AAugust 20, 2014Grab a corner table and people watch and don't leave without trying the beef stew dumplings. Careful when you bite or you'll scorch your mouth. Savory as heck
- Rachel LiuApril 22, 2013For All that don't know; The Original Wonton Garden is moved to 79 Mulberry St. You'll find all the old workers there and so is the main cook, the one on Mott is the imitation.
- Katya PugachevaFebruary 25, 2018Roast duck, dumplings - everything, really. Hot simple food at reasonable prices. Cool walls covered with foreign money.
- Chris GampatMay 20, 2018Everything in this menu is solid. But it goes better with a super, duper spicy hot sauce.
- The "new" Wonton Garden at Mott st. Is fully upgraded. Damme I miss the old servers, at least they didn't have to look through the menu. Lol. And yes, Still love the Old guy the cooks the noodles.
- Evan Staff3 weeks agoA Chinatown OG. Go for wonton soups, duck, Singapore noodles, salt and pepper squid, and green beans.
- Servers may not be very friendly, but you're here to eat, not chat! Quick service, reasonable prices and delicious soup. Don't forget to start off with shumai.
- Serious EatsSeptember 30, 2013Generous bowls of wonton soup with great wontons, though slightly thin broth.

- Eric WongMarch 8, 2014Damn food was good. Heard the original Wonton Garden's lease was up and moved here. The waiters doesn't seem to be the nicest but what do you expect? Small place about 10 tables.
- Great food, but the worker who has a patch of hair on his head looking like the "Avatar", kept getting our orders wrong. I miss the old staff and their Hawaiian Shirts. Lol
- Ryan SheaJune 21, 2013These guys will try to swindle you. Make sure you check the receipt carefully because it will include the tip and sometimes they even overcharge your credit card.

- Get dry wonton noodle with oyster sauce. Side of beef stew. Try tribe if you feel adventurous.
- FYI this is the original Wonton Garden. The old location on Mott is now just using similar name to get customer.
- Could be the best wonton noodle soup in town. Huge wontons! Moved 1 block away from Mott St to Mulberry St.
