Best gym in NYC. The layout is simple. The design is top notch. The dim lighting will grow on you and don't even get me started about the locker room- Is this a spa? Oh yeah, Al is the best trainer.
Way better than Equinox! Great atmosphere and tons of equipment and classes. Love the trainers too - ask for Daury or Sean. Super friendly place and members.
It is your destiny to bump into another DBG stud almost every time you're about to enter the men's locker room right past the yoga studio where it says "MEN." You can't help it, just admit it!- It's a very lovely, unique, beautiful gym. Great people - gym members, receptionists, membership advisers, maintenance crew, personal trainers. Good music and lights. A lot of energy and eye candies.
PeopleOctober 25, 2010If Studio 54 were to come back as a gym, this would be its swanky-sweaty reincarnation, complete with an in-house DJ, specialty vodka drinks and celeb clientele like Kendra Wilkinson and Zac Efron.- Just forgot my iPhone in the lounge of the gym. But the nice personal trainer, his name is Jordan I think, gave my iPhone to the receptionist to hand it over to me! Such awesome people here! Love it!
- Thank you for the smart/clever/funny/awesome "Behave" sign outside the steam room! The gym clearly has a great sens-a-yuma (sense of humor)! Love it!

DJ spinning the tunes on Tuesday, Thursday and Sat nights from 5-8pm. It's a total gay club scene with hotties working out...Fun!

I love everything about this gym, trainers are gr8, ppl who r working here is so friendly except that manager lady...
Amazing gym, great equipment, friendly staff, bathrooms well equipped with everything one needs to freshen up, definitely one of the BEST gyms in NYC!- If you are into yoga, try the"yoga for jocks" class, it is incredible... Paulo is the best instructor... :)

Good guy candy keeps you motivated. You may need a headlamp, however, to see it in the mood-lit locker room.

Be sure to make plenty of noise when you lift weights!
1st time in 7p spin & it was so blah :( music was boring. instructor didn't make the workout go w/the music & wasn't challenging, no energy in the rm. I think 1/2 the class was doing their own thing.
The classes at DB gym are intense! Best way to lose fat FAST!
Luke Lombardo's spin class changed my life. AKA Luke's drag racing ;)- The second women enter this gym, they instantly attain a superpower — being invisible. #ohgayboys
If you need motivation, try the "Blood, Sweat'n Tears" class.
Leave Anderson Cooper alone. Just look at his cute face and let him do his thing!
Great classes but try to avoid the after work rush hour
Save yourself time and AVOID rush hour (6/8pm). It's nuts!
Any classes with trainer Kate, rocks. she has a way to make you sweat just using your own body. blood, sweat and tears friday!
- Did you seriously just fix your hair in the mirror while lifting with one arm? Wow! LOL!
