The architecture here is unique! No tunnel lining was installed in this station. The architects and civil engineers decided to leave the rugged gneiss rock walls.

(Most of the hotels, including Dragon*Con hotels, are to the north.)Upvoted Feb 8- The deepest station in the MARTA system is the Peachtree Center Station which is located in a hard-rock tunnel, 120 feet (36 meters) beneath downtown Atlanta!

Easiest stop to get to Dragon*Con. Avoid the parking fees. Watch your favorite action figures and superheroes hop on public transit to go home.
Visit both the Peachtree Center Mall Food Court and the Suntrust Plaza Food Court without walking outside.
