Gnudi blew my mind, get it while they have it! Parsnip cake was bomb. Drinks are so unique. This place brings the art of taste experimenting down to a science.

Get the seats up by the kitchen table, you can see the chefs at work. Simple and delicious food. For brunch get the warm scones with honey, smoked smelt and seaweed, and pork sausage and beans.

These crispy potatoes with smoked fish and a mussel emulsion are really just a fancy (and flipping delicious) way of presenting french fries with bacon and ketchup.

Salted grapefruit soda (tastes like tamarind) 👍 especially if you need something to settle down your stomach after a Friday night 🙈 small bites menu at the bar has a fantastic selection of meats.

The restaurant offers half glasses of wine which allows for many tastings and pairings. Waiter had great wine suggestions. Halibut meal was fantastic. Chilled tomato soup was also tasty.

How had I not discovered the magic of seaweed broth sooner? It just makes sense that this cod would be seared and bathed in umami goodness. The menu changes; the quality doesn't.

This quintessential Seattle restaurant can take something as simple as a bowl of peaches and yogurt and make it somehow transcendent.

Go for brunch on the weekend and be sure to order the scone. The scone, the butter and the seasonal fruit compote are a perfect plate.
