Janet Stone is a force. A very senior teacher and her classes are unique and extremely challenging. Your legs and abs will thank you. She also has a deep spiritual vibe.

if you like a deep, loving, challenging class take Rusty Wells. his Bhakti classes really help calm the mind and build focus!
Mark Morford and Jason Bowman are the least boring yoga teachers ever. Fact.- Rusty has moved studios to a Donation Studio called Urban Flow on Mission at S Van Ness.
Take Eric Monkhouse's Weds night Vinyasa class. It's almost religious it's so good.

Many have claimed that Yoga Tree's Castro studio is the best and most supercharged yoga space, with the best, most luminous bouquet of teachers in the City. You can feel the charge as you walk into this luminous and stunning space right in the heart of the Castro (not surprising since it was a former dance hall).
