White truffle pasta special, but screw that - tagliatelle w/ veal ragu is the winter warmer you want right now. Or pappardelle w/ wild boar. Rustic, perfect. Forget Osteria Morini & the crowds.

Day: The pear-and-chocolate turnover here is one of the best pastries in New York. Buy a loaf of cabbage bread to go. Evening: the branzino is delicious, as are the Black Moon cake and the crepe cake.

Food was great (I had the cod), place is cozy and very cute but service was terrible. Servers were glorified busboys and we had to hunt our server down for everything; he just stood around all night
