Nancy VidetichMarch 12, 2015Be sure to get a Passport - good for 3 days for $26. Otherwise, it is $6 each way. We took cable cars, buses and trolleys ALL over the city to get around and really saved!

MuratMay 21, 2019One of the most interesting and touristic spots. There is always a line, waiting could be upto 30-45 min. Worth to wait for an authentic experience. Tickets are 7USD, sold right there in a box office.Upvoted 2 weeks ago

Melani AguilarJune 1, 20197 usd for a one way trip, leaves you on Market St. Try to wait until you are among the first ones to choose a great seat. After a couple of stops you can stand up. Totally worth it.
If its your first time in SF a ride on the cable cars is a must. However, plan to take your ride in the morning or the lines get too long.

Trevin ChowAugust 11, 2013Don't wait in line at the turnaround like the other chumps. Walk up the street a block to O'Farrell. Shorter line and the cable car always picks up more passengers from there on the way up.

Make sure to take the Hyde car. It's the one that stops at Lombard St.
