- Great corner in Chicago to walk along the boat Marina - go north or south along the park & the lake. Also a perfect bus stop. There is also a dog beach just north.

- In the unfrozen parts, great selection of wintering ducks: common merganser, common goldeneyes, scaups, and sometimes bufflehead.
- Take a tour over to the fireworks Wednesday and Saturday. Lots of fun!
