Get the humitas as an appetizer. They're like a sweet corn tamal, roasted and served with sour cream.

We always have the humid as appetizer (1 each, but you can split 1 to try more things). All the food is really good.

The food here was decent. And I believe I had something with potatoes and meat in a plate mixed together. The service was pretty good.

Try to find street parking on your own if you can. Otherwise valet is $5, and I don't know if it's worth it.

Aji is really spicy- yum! Definitely try the ceviche. Seco de chivo (goat in red sauce) is amazing!!!!!

Be aware that there are two El Caserio restaurants within two blocks of each other. This is the original location, and the Silverlake location is the newer restaurant.
