Unless it's winter, skip the shabu-shabu and make a meal out of the small dishes, including firefly squid, "tomato with delicious salt," and ochazuke, made with leftover tea and rice, and damn good. Read more

The homemade tofu, the choice of sake cups (holy grail!), the shabu shabu, and the sashimi are not to be missed! Delicious. Unexpected. Steamy. And intimate.

Euphoric doesn't even begin to describe the Prime Rib Beef sukiyaki for 2. The egg yolk dip was a tasteful accompaniment too. Can't wait to try the Berkshire Pork and Shabu Shabu next time!

beef shabu shabu lacked flavor for my taste. definitely order the homemade goma tofu topped with uni & wasabi. the abalone in butter soy sauce was also good.

This is my favorite place to get Shabu-Shabu at! I always get the beef & order extra mushrooms & watercress. At the end, when the broth is flavorful, they cook & serve udon noodle to you - can't lose!

Try the firefly squid: served raw, with a little wad of horseradish on top, bathed in a light soy sauce. The flavor is fine, but the texture is miraculous, slightly chewy but almost instantly yielding
