Introduce yourself to the staff. They are really friendly and try to know their clients on a first name basis. Also, pay to rent the mat and towel. You'll be glad you did!

$29 intro month for Bay area locals. Mat & towel is complimentary with first visit, plus, if you sign up for intro month you get a gift certificate for a friend who has never been to FDY:). Hooked up!

Rent a fresh mat and towel! Then you can return it afterwards and not have to carry it around or worry about cleaning it yourself!

The back row is the coolest, but... let's get real. It's hot no matter where you put your mat. Try a class with Ryan, her classes are the best.

If things start to feel “easy” ask your teacher how to modify to the next stage of the asana (pose). No matter where you are, there is always a next step and progress always feels incredible! Namasté

Bikram yoga is VERY demanding! Make sure you are in decent shape and drink TONS of water the day before and before class. DO NOT eat anything right before...you'll regret it. Read more
