- Alf LaMontJune 24, 2012Second only to Guelaguetza in traditional Mexican fare, the Queso fundido, calabacitas, and aguas frescas here are the best grub at the Farmer's market. A tall order indeed.
- Alexandra BruceMay 24, 2013This taqueira at The Grove is the best in Los Angeles, IMHO. Reminiscent of the ultra-refined cuisine you find in hallowed spots of el DF - and throughout Mexico Lindo! Highly Recommended!
- Daniel L.January 15, 2013Grab a Probaditas sampler, but be sure to include the Albondigas en Chipotle: Juicy beef meatballs bathed in a tomato and chipotle sauce, garnished with onion and cilantro
- MicheleOctober 20, 2012Green Chilaquiles with eggs on top. Only second to the ones near the Zocalo in Mexico City. If you have kids they can enjoy the creeps just across the way. Win-win
- B dBeaMarch 4, 2011A MUST in L.A. Get the "Probaditas": a dish with 14 mini tacos, so you will try everything (beef,chipotle,chicken...). Best guacamole in town and excellent "Aguas frescas" (drink made of fruits!)
- DrinkCobaApril 26, 2011Potato tacos at their finest. Food Network star, Chef Duff, chose the mole enchiladas here as the best thing he ever ate with chocolate. A big statement from the king of pastries himself!
- EpicuriousAugust 23, 2010Located in the middle of the LA Farmers' Market, this 17-seat counter has some of the best - and cheapest - food around. Try the tortilla soup and vegetable tacos.
- Sopes...get the Carne Deshbrada sopes! Melts in your mouth. Shredded beef in a flavorful tomato sauce stacked on top of a thick corn tortilla (like a Mexican English Muffin) w/ beans, lettuce, guac.
- Vanessa SandovalJune 18, 2011I really enjoyed the shrimp tacos with salsa morita. The shrimp were plentiful, plump, and tasty! And the sauce had a nice spice to it.
- Stacey JonesJanuary 9, 2011Get here early. Bkfst: huevos con chorizo, cafe de olla, and papas con rajas. During the day, mole enchiladas are muy bueno, too.
- Penn AppetitJune 4, 2012Such authentic mexican food. The chilequiles are awesome and reminded one blogger of a trip to Mexico.
- Ben ReissNovember 24, 2010Prepare yourself for a great, flavorful burrito. I recommend either the shredded chicken or the roast pork. One of the best burritos I've ever had.
- HeatherFebruary 26, 2010Go to Loteria Grill - Farmers Market. The BEST chicken nachos, ever! A small should do (they're pretty big), unless you're going to share!
- EaterJanuary 9, 2011Fresh, authentic, flavorful Mexican eats. Best in the category. [Eater 38 Member]
- Bill MacomberApril 25, 2010For chilequiles lovers, this might not be the best spot. Stick with the delicious meats in their sopes and tacos!
- Get either the enchiladas suizas or the nachos with chicken
- Phillip CheungAugust 9, 2009Go to Loteria Grill. Get two Cochinita Pibil tacos, a side of white rice and black beans, and a horchata. Don't forget to validate.
- AdamSeptember 20, 2010Chicken burrito in Mole, with horchata or fresh squeezed watermelon juice. Its unbeatable
- BravoNovember 12, 2010L.A. is filled with good Mexican food but they are number one. -Danielle Keene, Top Chef Just Desserts
- Julie TranJuly 28, 2011Shrimp taco special, black beans over white rice, and their Paloma drinks are smooth!
- Josh FagenAugust 25, 2012The shrimp burrito, which they only serve occasionally, is some next level shit.
- Love the chicken suizas enchiladas. Comes with black beans and rice.
- Fredo CamarenaJanuary 22, 2013Rudest girl ever at the cashier. Customer service goes a long way. Won't be going there again, your rude and don't know how to handle paying customers if I was the owner I would fire your ass in a Sec
- Sun GoddessJune 10, 2012The food is just okay - nothing spectacular. Don't bother with the horchata or you will be disappointed.
