Take a walk across intrepid (air museum on a aircraft carrier) and with I tripod still in view there is a nice outdoor cafe called PD HURLEYS good coffee great view and room for about 800 people
The Pier 84 Park is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of NYC, while you are in NYC! It has a lot to offer, from amazing views to IntrepidMuseum, water fountain and various eateries
Definitely the least attractive location and layout of any of the Hudson piers... And a lot of fairly ghetto crowd. Sorry, young theater gays... It's still better down south!
