Awesome theatre that is always showing great plays. Saw the amazing Lion King show here. This theatre is particularly large but it feels so intimate. There is nothing else like it in Theatre District
In my opinion one of the nicer theatres. It doesn't feel particularly crowded.ย The prices are on the expensive side, as in any entertainment venue, but at least you get a souvenir cup with your drink!
The staff here are great at keeping the crowd moving and getting everyone in their seats on time - don't be the jerk that comes in late. No pictures during the show, so just live in the moment & enjoy
I waited to watch Lion King until I could make it to NYC Broadway. Well worth it! I sat in row K and it was perfect. Close and far enough from stage to see everything. Actors come down the aisle too!
One of the best plays in town, and possibly the best theatre in B'way. Be sure to arrive a little early, and don't miss the opportunity of the great view of Times Square from the lobby.
The show is mind-blowing; the music, costumes, performance, stage transitions, lighting, everything! You'll rarely find discounts on that one (online or TKTS), but it's worth every penny. Must see!
The Lion King is an absolutely incredible show... but drinks price is absurdly expensive (more so than other theatres) + ushers kept bringing people in during show and was super disruptive!
Everything was incredible from the vocals of the cast to the choreography, stage set up, direction and percussionists! Don't worry about front row seats, you'll be able to enjoy from the last row!
This was my first time to a broadway play. It was such an amazing experience. The music, lights action, the entire performance was an amazing experience. I recommended a must watch.
Grandmother surprised me to see The Lion King, and definitely by far the best show I've seen & one of the most well thought out designs of a theature I've seen. It was all beautiful.
The magic is still alive in the Minskoff Theatre! This musical brings the Disney cartoon to life in a spectacular way. The costumes, set, props, and actors all make for an incredible experience.
Everything was amazing! The music, the costumes, the dances, and the story line reminded me how much I really loved The lion king!! I would go and see it again
For the amount of money you pay for front row, Seats should be more roomy and comfortable w/ cup holders. Drinks should not be in souvenir plastic cup, they should be in souvenir champagne glasses ;)
One of the best theatre in town. Shows are amazing; the music, costumes, performance, lighting, everything is just superb. Great time spent with friends.Prices are expensive but worth the money.
A great way to spend quality time with the family. It's simply amazing how everything is done live. The lighting, the stage transition, the amazing acting, to the background music.
The highest grossing Broadway show of all time really is a must-see! In 2006 the production moved to the Minskoff Theatre, smack-dab in the middle of Times Square!
The sets and costumes are spectacular, although young Simba and Nala could've been decorated with nice lion masks. Their lack of masks broke the experience.
I've always wanted to see this show and it was fantastic to finally make my dream come true. I think it's the most complex and fabulous show on Broadway!
This musical often goes on sale for buy one get one tickets, follow their Twitter for more details on that. Saw it twice, definitely much better outside the mezzanine, cool stuff goes down the aisles.
THE LION KING is in its 13th year on Broadway and still feels as fresh as it did when it first opened. It's one of the most visually-stunning musicals ever created. Read more
