Old school and delicious -excellence will be missed on your "roll only" crowd, but awesome for those who really know.

Rotating $11 lunch specials of 3 set rolls, miso soup & salad. Better than most lunch specials spots. Get a window seat.

For lunch you can't go wrong with the three roll combo w/ soup and salad. The spicy combo is best with salmon, tuna and shrimp tempura

To add HALF an avocado to the house salad is $3!! HALF! Are you people insane? Choshi is 50/50. Freshness is not always guaranteed here. If you don't mind a slight wait Yama down the block is better.

Formerly good, now spotty in both preparation and service. Often sullen and stupid.

Not good. Spicy tuna roll was more mayo than fish. Only upside was that Jimmy Fallon was dining at the table behind mine.

Service was slow and not very friendly. When I just came in I smelled something, usually old houses smell like this, disgusting... Sushi was eeehhh, I wouldn't go back there again...

Go to Yama a block away. You might have to wait a few minutes but you will leave much happier that you waited instead of eating at Choshi.
