The "Mayor of Cabbage Town" aka artist Panorama Ray got his name from an antique Kodak Cirkut panoramic camera to achieve his famous wide-angle photographs.

The name? Workers were said to grow cabbages in their yards & you could smell the odor of cooking cabbage from far away.
