I usually grab breakfast here since it's on my way to work, the breakfast buffet isn't much. Prices are a bit on the high end.

When you order a sandwich and they ask what kind of bread you want, don't say hoagie; that'll get you whole wheat.
Open 24 hrs, wide selection of items, but a bit pricey (Gristedes prices are higher though). Good selection of orchids too.

The heavier set deli guy makes a great sandwich to order- I like this place, I didn't think it was as expensive as Gristedes and the selection is muuuuch wider.
Try the organic milk that's on a glass container. Sooo good!

Agree about the high prices. Shop only if you have to. They usually have nice selection of flowers though.
