Specifically, The Winter Garden space on the 9th floor. Large, indoor, beautiful area at the top of the building with a glass ceiling. Decent wifi, but no power.
The layout has been redesigned, it's much easier to get to where you need to go and the circulation desk is in the beautiful lobby instead of on the third floor.
If you don't find what you want on the shelves, place the item on hold & the library will notify you when it comes in. It takes almost a month for staff to re-shelve returned books & media.
Librarians are very nice, and so do the security guards. Never leave your stuff unattended at a table, not even a school book bag. Mine got stolen here. Lost and found office is closed on weekends.

Very inconvenient interior design will send you on a quest across multiple escalators, elevators, and searches just to get to the books. Hangout for bums.
Check online for regular free events.Attend some very interesting talks from well known authors/Best sellers. I have attended a couple and each time it has been a treat!
