It's strictly Omakase at the sushi bar, and well worth it—should you take this option, you'll have to cross your fingers that the blue crab hand roll and skip jack sashimi are on the night's menu. Read more

Hands down the best/most legit sushi and Omakse in West Hollywood. Super fresh fish and everything is perfect. h/t Jeff Klein to putting me onto this spot.

Who knew some of the best sushi in North America was in an LA strip mall. Go omakase, order a bottle of sake and casually try and figure out if that person sitting next to you is famous or not.

Best sushi I've ever had, hands down. Sit at the bar and do the Chef's choice, you won't be sorry. They finish it off with a blue crab hand roll that's one of the best things I've ever eaten!

Omakase only at the bar, but you can order normally if you are at a table. Very good sushi here, if not a little small on the portions.

A little pricey but well-worth spoiling yourself. The staff will basically serve you sushi until you tell them to stop, including new and crazy things you’ve never tried. Read more

Omakase, all the way. Listen to soy sauce/no soy sauce instructions from the sushi chef.

This low-key sushi bar proudly announces that it serves “No! California Roll”, and “No! Spicy Tuna Roll,” and attracts serious stars like Charlize Theron and Emma Stone.

The only restaurant in America where I pause and comment on how amazing every bite is. The perfect traditional sushi experience.

A giant in the traditional Japanese sushi category; melts-in-you-mouth-type fish, though it doesn't come cheap. [Eater 38 Member] Read more

It's good, fresh and delicious but overpriced. Consider 50$ per person to get more or less full without the drinks. I don't understand why this place rated as relevantly cheap.

Dreamily delicious but about 2x expensive as you might expect. $300 for wine, edamame & omakase for 2.

reminds of Sushi Yasuda in New York. Simple, delicious, classic.

This place is the real deal - as the sign reading "No Trendy Sushi; No Salad; No Teriyaki Tempura; No California Roll; No Spicy Tuna Roll" rather emphatically reminds us. Omakase-only sushi here.
