- Default spot for lunch. Do the Beef Chilli, Tomato or Moroccan Lamb. You won't regret any of these choice. Oh and add cheese. Come get your SOUP, SOUP, SOUP.
- Great place to grab a quick lunch. The beef chili is fantastic and there's something awesome about the laid back, hole in the wall, friendly lady vibe they've got going on.
- Life hack: get them to put the cheese at the bottom of your beef chilli. That way you get chilli goodness and a small treat of melted cheese at the end for being the bestest boy.
- Good, hearty soups, and one of the rare places in this immediate area where you can grab lunch for under $10 (smalls are $5, extra buck bumps you up to a large)
- #Protip: Go with a large half beef chili // half tomato soup with rice and cheese.
- Brendan MNovember 20, 2015Best cheap lunch in the neighborhood w rotating specials - get the Moroccan lamb while it's around
- That Moroccan lamb soup is hearty and perfect for a cold day. Cash only!
- Large beef chili is the way to go (skip the cheese and bread for a healthier option). Be careful taking the soup out of the bag, the lids are a bit too big and slip off easily.
- J CrowleyDecember 9, 2014It defies all rules of deliciousness, but the vegetable chili is better than the beef chili. Ask for rice on the bottom and cheese on top.
- The beef chili is great over rice. Everything available is super cheap and very filling. Perfect for a cold, blustery day!
- It's all about the half tomato soup, half beef chili blend with cheese.
- $7.50 large beef chili with rice, cheese, and bread! I can't think of a better, quick lunchtime grab in SoHo in the wintertime.
- Mafe Sotillo LairetJuly 8, 2013Delicious soups! I always have the veggie chili with extra whole wheat bread only for $6! It's cash only btw ;)
- Half beef chili & half tomato, no rice, yes cheese, with bread. Ask to add Tabasco before they put the lid on and bag it for you.
- Small soup is $5. Large soup is $6. A no-brainer - get the large.
- Great place to grab a quick lunch. Souper guy is pretty funny.
- Kendal CockrelMarch 16, 2018Clam chowder + bread is where it’s at. Probably the most inexpensive lunch in this area.
- Anoop RanganathAugust 13, 2014No lines during the summer! Get a large beef chili and ask for the cheese on the bottom.
- Half tomato, half beef chili with cheese. Note: they don't have tomato soup in the summer
- David WAugust 3, 2012The Soup Kiosk is in the south-west corner of Prince and Mercer. Don't miss it! It's a little black wood shack.
- Elie BleierJune 29, 2014Easy, quick and tasty work lunch spot 👍 ask for both bread and croutons politely
- Get the beef chili, large. You'll want to add some additional hot sauce if you like yours with a kick.
- Mike LewisMay 3, 2012Quick little outside hole in the wall (literally). Hearty soups and wraps while they last. Popular for lunch. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
- beef chili! great lunch spot if you work in the area.
- Great to go and ask for rice as well. Be prepared for 10+ min wait in fall/winter
- David RosenbergMarch 24, 2015Large veggie chilli with cheese and no rice (obviously). Lunch = sorted.
- Beef chili with cheese and hot sauce is amazing...and affordable!
- Tomato soup is where it's at. It rivals D&D's for sure.
- Rainy days are a trade off: no line, but because nobody's coming, the soup isn't that fresh or good.
- Rob PanosSeptember 26, 2011The morrocan lamb is the best! The ladies that work here are amazing! Tip them!
- The veggie chili is better than the beef chili in my opinion.
- They give you TWO full packs of crackers with a big smile. Love this place!
- Janet ChenJanuary 2, 2014Very slow and disorganized. You'd think scooping soup doesn't take that long and that keeping 4 soups in stock during lunch hour is not a huge ask for a joint called "Soup Kiosk". Not happy.
- chicken vegetable, tomato, and vegetable chili are yummy!
- To avoid eating their delicious soup over your computer at work, head to the park at 6th ave & prince on warmer days.
- Be careful carrying the soup containers. Apparently the tops don't always fit correctly.
