    Get in early for jury duty. There're only 12 outlets available if you want to power up. TV's in the lounge are now off b/c people complained, so they make it as miserable as possible now! Good luck!

    If you're in for jury duty and need to charge your phone, go into the vending room outside of the juror's lounge on the third floor, they have a couple of outlets and chairs.

    Could u folks please remember that your going through a metal detector, and empty your pockets before you do so? The line will run much quicker.

    Be prepared to wait at least an hour and a half if you are visiting the marriage bureau. Plenty of characters in here!

    If you're on jury duty, bring a jacket (it's cold) and bring a cell phone charger (it's boring)

    If you just need to get a certified copy of a judgment or look up detailed civil case info, go to the Civil Public file room (5004)...don't wait in the long line for the Clerk!

    got to the top floor and check out the view...super pretty. Also, check out a trial, they're open to the public and usually very interesting.

    If you are coming fir a marriage license, get there at 8:30. There are no lines! Otherwise you wait at least 45m.

    If coming from subway take archives stop on yellow line. Its closest to courthouse. Street parking is horrible.

    Cameras will be confiscated and held by security when you enter. You can pick them up on your way out with proper ID.
