Miss your train and want a snack? Stop by Pescatore and grab one of their delicious seafood spring rolls. They're well priced ($3.50-$5.50), tasty and provide a great protein blast.

Conveniently located among the Grand Central Terminal 13 unique vendors/stores with a touch of class with often the eye-opening Manhattan price tags. Yes! Quality and convenience do not come cheap!!

Stop in to Eli Zabar's & pick up their "croissant," which is more like a roll but their ham & cheese one is so buttery & tasty. Just save one for me! ;9

Dishes is always a crowd pleaser - they offer a wide variety of healthy and tasty items. Li-lac chocolates is also a great stop if you have a sweet tooth (try the dark chocolate covered almonds)!

Eli's is pricier but worth the extra couple of dollars over Zaro's. All in all, though, murray cheese is where it's at

Murray's Cheese sells what gets my vote (professionally speaking) as THE best candy bar in the world: Pralus' Barre Infernale Lait. Worth every penny, centime, whatever. Do NOT deny yourself.

Don’t order the embryos in a glass (trust us, your date would rather you not), but do stroll casually and pick up some snacks through the most beautiful train station in the city.
