Their happy hour cannot be beat. Three signature cocktails for $5 each and bar bites at $5 make this a great after work/early evening option. Sit on the patio if the weather is nice!

Good for lunch or dinner with a nice menu of the Louisiana classics. The gumbo & jambalaya are good. Plenty of nice seafood option. Sunday Brunch is a must try too.

Charbroiled oysters are phenomenal. Eggs acadiana crab cakes are a good choice- generous with potatoes- maybe too much. Seafood crepes are a good appetizer

The free biscuits with pepper-jelly butter, BBQ Shrimp, Turtle Soup, and Chargrilled Oysters. Po'boys are the best in DC, but are only available on weekdays at lunch.

Try the Fried Green Tomatoes - Very tasty fried green tomatoes topped with shrimp. At the top of the pic is cream cheese & pepper jelly, which is perfect on a homemade biscuit!

The crab cakes were delightful. I was very pleased with my duck entree. Other items to try are the beignets and pecan tart. The grillades and grits with veal are also good.

The best dish on the menu is by far the CHAR-BROILED OYSTERS- smothered in butter and Parmesan, grilled on the half shell and served with a baguette!!! OMG! Orgasmic!!!

Extremely comfortable "table for 1" section above the bar area that's got great chairs and relatively quiet compared to the rest of the restaurant.

This place has a great kid's menu, offers crayons and sculpty wax sticks to kids, and won't freak out about decent kid behavior. The adult food and drinks are top-notch.

Don\'t have Tim serve you. He\'s a disrespectful and pretentious pile of bullocks. Derek is great though! The BLT salad, fried catfish were great, avoid the shrimp and grits.

What's good here? Sadly, not the gumbo that they're supposed to be known for. Lacking in flavor, lacking in heat (spice). The jalapeño cheese grits were tasty, however.
