If the beach club's open, it's THE place to have a beer or grab a sandwich. Hard to get a better view in a more relaxed setting!

Governor's Island is our favorite place in NYC. Don't tell too many friends about it please, but join us for a ferry ride, some beach volleyball, BBQ, beer, and some of the best views of Manhattan.

Beautiful place to see a show. You’re on the water, the sun is setting over the skyline, and there’s sand (or asphalt) beneath your feet.

Amazing concert venue with beautiful views. Beware terrible ATM fees and expensive drinks.

Watch out for the toxic cups: Plastic #6: polystyrene, or Styrofoam. this type of plastic leaches potentially toxic chemicals, especially when heated. avoid #6 plastic. It is difficult to recycle

DO NOT order a cheese burger. $8 for a airplane style burger that took 25 mins to cook. Save your money for beer if you want to enjoy the artificial beach and dubstep. This place is run by teenagers.

Bring a blanket - there's a cute "beach" area that's fun to chill with friends

Drinks for $13 and atm machines out of service (people basically couldn't spend more money than they brought, which is the most stupid thing I've seen in a party).

There is an ATM next to the bar. Vendors at Picnic Point don't take plastic so grab cash here for the day.

Cash only and an $8 fee for ATM. The greedy, awful people who run this place should be ashamed of themselves.

It has ridiculous service & overpriced food. You are totally better off bringing a sandwich and finding a scenic spot to picnic.

This place is way too small for a concert venue. No where to sit and be prepared to stand in a sandy "beach". What a joke.

Очень дорогое бухло - двойная водка-орандж и джин-тоник обошлись в $40. Так что напивайтесь заранее!
