- Amazing fish selection and always fresh. Staff will always help you with cleaning or cutting if you don't feel like doing it at home.
- I do most of my grocery shopping at Citarella. Prices are good, and the meat and fish are always fresh!!

- Love their prepared foods when they still have some remaining during the after work rush!
- Sandy CampbellJune 12, 2014Generally the best fish in NYC. But I'm not impressed with their $14 a pound tuna salad. It's way too salty, too dry and doesn't have enough celery bits. Glad I only got 1/4 pound!
- DoubleDeuceMarch 15, 2019The prices on fresh fruits and vegetables are much better priced than you might expect. Definitely worth your time.
- Hauke VagtsMay 28, 2013apart from outstanding seafood and beef they carry some nice dark chocolates!
- This is my go to place for fish. The counter is great and the staff knowledgeable and helpful. The butcher counter is very nice too.
- Great "épicerie fine" especially good for fish, bread, charcuterie and cheese.
- Citarella's prepared foods are great. Had their new polenta and mushroom. Delicious!
