RCFebruary 16, 2015Great little park here. It's split for big and little dogs. There's even a poop scoop for when your dog inevitably decides, inside, the park is the best to go.
Try to keep the doggy pool as clean as you can. We should try to avoid our pups drinking from it. You never know what's in it when its too cloudy

AmateurConciergeJuly 30, 2015A nice big run but the dusty ground and pool makes for dirty dirty dogs. If in the small dog run make sure your pooch doesn't jump the fence to run with the big boys!
- Ask before you give a treat to another dog. You don't know what kind of diet they are on or what their allergies might be.
Listen: don't bring a ball or frisbee to the dog park expecting to be left alone, or even bring the toy home afterward. Expect to have many pups playing, or save it for off-hours/your private park.

If your dog is 50 lbs, he shouldn't be in the small dog park. I don't care how entitled you feel, this is how pets get injured.

Watch your dog carefully. Occasionally an aggressive dog gets out of hand.
Never open the inside and outside gates at the same time. People that do this are assholes and should be corrected. A few dogs have escaped and been hit by cars, so don't do it.

Keep an eye on your dogs and pick up after them. Don't make the dog park a minefield of poop.
Say hi the heffner if you see him. He's the little frenchie OWNING all the big dogs.
No dogs without people and no people without dogs. Bee tee dubs, human babies, even crawling on all fours, are not an acceptable substitute for dogs.
- This place is dirty. Just dirty. Dogs poop all inside the dirt areas where the dogs play and run, and has a split area for big and small dogs. Not a fan. Take them to Washington Square instead.
Do NOT bring food into the dog park; it is not a good place to have a snack. And please don't feed other dogs treats without first asker the owner for permission.- Is it your dog that likes to sneak a sniff behind the park benches...?

There should be a soap opera about this place. Seriously, drama!
When I'm feeling sad (or just want a good laugh), the dog park always makes me smile.
