Some of the studios need a cleaning crew to work through there ... "pet peeve" can happen anywhere " hate a smelly mic ... But I think the best way to avoid BYOM (bring your own mic)

You can rent cables but I also forgot a guitar strap once and they let me borrow one for a buck.
