Get the 49ers, Dutch Baby or Apple Pancake...don't waste your time with anything else. Been going to the Original Pancake House for 35 years, so I know what I'm talking about. Pancakes are my religion

Very family friendly, especially early on weekends.. Best pancakes and waffles in Chicago. Pecan waffle is to die for.

The smell is so warm and friendly. Great assortment of breakfast choices. If crowded, you can always eat at the counter with the regulars.

The breakfast that brunch forgot. Bring earplugs if you prefer to avoid the chorus of toddlers. Though they do have free crayons.

Food is good, but the semi-underground design w/ greenish-tinted lighting creates a sickly atmosphere.
