- John KSeptember 16, 2014The best Italian ingredients and sandwiches on this side of the Potomac! Good for a quick lunch, picking up nice wine, and other authentic Italian ingredients.
- C JAugust 24, 2014Speaking as a native NJ-ian, the pizzas here are pretty damn good. That said, the cannoli, imported package goods, pizza dough, salted meats....really, everything is quite good.
- Sarah HMay 5, 2013When you read about this place online and think there's no way it can live up to the hype - like I did - rest assured, it can. The Capri sub is amazing: spicy, meaty, and delicious!
- Daniel SaiaNovember 7, 2016Without a doubt one of the best Italian subs I have ever had. Got the Roma and on soft roll. The Fantasy bars are to die for! Love it!
- SaeedOctober 5, 2019large sandwiches are really huge, almost enough for two👍🏻👍🏻hot pastrami is a perfect choice here🤤😘
- I love their food! :) The best sandwich I have had many times and would have them anytime of day as they are that declicious! Lol :)
- Keith MalkinOctober 30, 2011Arguably the best authentic Neapolitan pizzas in the area; inarguably delicious. The sandwiches on chewy italian rolls with imported meats and aged cheeses are a trip to culinary heaven.
- Sandwiches are UNREAL. I had the Roma. So good. If I lived or worked anywhere nearby I would eat here ALL THE TIME.
- Washington PostFebruary 28, 2013Get The Roma. Sometimes you just want Italian cold cuts without any fancy garnishes, toppings or accoutrements. The Roma is your sandwich. Read more
- Jay HSeptember 5, 2013It was great the food is excellent I got there before the lunch crowd so I didn't have to wait long.
- Hardip SinghFebruary 1, 2010Italian Store can be busy during lunch hours. Be sure to grab a number as soon as you get there. I usually go w/ the Genoa sub. If you get the meatball sub, be sure to ask for a hard roll. Read more
- Ciara LascanoAugust 12, 2014Everything is so good here! The sandwiches and pizza is really the best ever!
- Scott StapfJuly 6, 2010Excellent selection of pastas and Italian wines. Don't miss the frozen Italian dinners/desserts they bring in every day from New York. The tiramisu is great!
- David WAugust 20, 2011This should be tagged pizza too. One of the best real subs in DC and great real NY style pizza too.
- The Capri is great. It's the first sub listed on the menu for a reason. Extra peppers are by far worth the extra .25 cents!
- Alan RosenblattFebruary 10, 2012Best place for Italian wine. If it's on sale it is bound to be good. And get a Milano sub.
- Soft roll if your eating it there, hard roll to go.
- Really good food there, good pizza, good bread, good sandwich... place is packed most of the time, but sure worth the wait !!!
- Go with the Capri, always a winner. Be sure to ask for fresh mozz!
- Eric IrizarryMarch 24, 2016Just left. Waited for 15 minutes with my number in front of the sandwich makers and everyone appeared to be ignoring me. Some lady came in and was attended immediately. Last time I come here.
- Ask for toasted sandwich. Nick and Bosco make the fastest and most generous sandwiches
- The Italian Roma sub (with everything and artichoke heart salad)... Wow. Literally made from heaven. Try it. Won't be disappointed!
- Napoli, soft, extra hot peppers. Large if you're feeling like a beast.
- Don't just grab prepared food and run. While you're waiting, check out their market full of great imported Italian products.
- The Capri. Make sure to get it with the hot and sweet peppers!
- Meatball sub on a soft roll with provolone = the best thing I've ever eaten.
- Chicken parmesan is great and well worth waiting an extra few mins for
- Usually people come here for the sandwiches but you can't forget about the pizza.
- Pizza and sandwiches are the best in arlington
- Get the Roma with everything. Dare I say, best sandwich of all time?
- Anastasia DellaccioMarch 18, 2011The Dolci Gelati gelato is locally made, all natural and absolutely delicious
- Poor service, worse attitude. I'm used it being chaotic. Noy@used to them taking an order, then "forgetting" to make the food. Then saying they were out of chicken parm. They didn't care.
