Completed in 1969 & formerly called the John Hancock building, it was officially renamed 875 North Michigan Avenue in 2018. Also, Chris Farley was found dead in his apartment on the 60th floor in 1997

The Signature Lounge offers the best view in Chicago and it comes at the price of a drink. Daylight and evening offer two distinct experiences so try and set aside time to come twice, it's worth it.

Designed by Skidmore Owings and Merrill, the lead engineer, IIRC, was Fasler Khan, the same guy behind the bundled tubes concept used on the Sears Tower (and later reused by SOM for the Burj Khalifa).
