Great yakitori, and sake/shoju selection. Get the shiso beef (very rare kababs with a shiso leaf chutney) and Erichan's special (mochi pan-fried in butter and soy and, as delicious as it sounds).

An izakaya spot that's tiny, quirky -- you can't miss the Beatles memorabilia -- and also satisfyingly simple. The ramen is good, but the skewers are exceptional. Read more

Amazing authentic talk tori with a spin. The ramen is also great. I recommend to come here early because there's only room for about 10 people in the restaurant. Definitely worth the wait!

Halu's shining grace is not the ramen - but the yakitori. Juicy and delicious - the tontoro is a definite must order. The decor and the attentive waitstaff are another plus.

Meat lovers combo = 3 unique and delicious skewers. Their #karaageramen was also good. The broth was not as thick as other places. Still good, just different. Will return soon. So good!

This place is pretty good. Broth was not too heavy but has substantial flavor. Their yakitori is delicious. Tiny place so get their early or might be a wait.

Outstanding yakitori, and a couple of great shochus. This is now one of my favorite spots in the Bay Area.

The beef tongue is unbelievably good. A thicker cut than most places but so so so beefy. Feels like you stepped into a legit izakaya in Tokyo. The Beatles theme sells it.

Great little spot! Service can be slow, but the ramen and yakitori are worth waiting for. Especially since you can pass the time perusing Beatles books and memorabilia.

The okonomiyaki is good here! Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.

You'd be hard-pressed to find better okonomiyaki in the city. Throw in the Beatles decor, the offal-laden yakitori, and the friendly family vibe and the tiny Halu's a win. [Eater 38 Member] Read more

Prepare to wait for at least 30 - 45 for your ramen. Add 10 min for each additional plate. Half kidding. Hearty ramen is worth it and satisfying.

This place is pretty unique due to its Beatles themed decor and selection of yakitori. It's very tiny though and you might need to wait.

Best robata in SF. Ramen is okay--the Beatles-themed restaurant makes up for it and really adds a chill vibe to the whole dining experience. They also have yuzu shu! :)
