- banafsheh ghassemiNovember 19, 2012If you miss that little wine bar in the middle of a neighborhood in Barcelona or Paris, you may have found a close cousin here. Food, cocktails, etc are top notch & they won't break the bank. Love it!
- banafsheh ghassemiDecember 14, 2012I have to say, not too thrilled abt the new menu. If you are really hungry and looking for a meal (vs bites to nibble on w your cocktail), the choices are too limited. Still my fav spot in all of DC.
- Robert BratneyApril 24, 2015I had a great time sitting at the bar, talking to the bartender Nate. Most impressively, they have a good selection of rare rums, including several Samaroli bottlings, that I had never seen in person.
- Kaz K.February 15, 2016Great for brunch and coffee; not as crowded as other places and more relaxed and casual.
- Carolyn ZimmermanJanuary 25, 2015Great little spot. Went here for cocktails and dessert. Tried the saffron cocktail and chocolate silk pie, would highly recommend both!
- Serious EatsMay 15, 2014The honey goat cheesecake with cherry peppercorn compote has deservedly gathered buzz for being one of the best cheesecakes in the city.
- Andrew DollJuly 27, 2013Enjoyable, well crafted cocktails with a nice atmosphere. HOWEVER, beware of the back bar if you enjoy watching your drink created. All cocktails are made at the front bar and transferred back.
- Juli JakuFebruary 19, 2015Pastries baked fresh and in-house. Jalapeno-cheddar biscuit is a savory alternative. Everything on the menu, from coffee to dinner, is carefully sourced and prepared.
- Ricky SherrillDecember 10, 2015Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Good cocktails and you must try the biscuit burger. Also add a grilled cheese sandwich to share.
- One of my favorite bars. Excellent drinks and bartenders that are willing to make you something that suits your tastes. I've learned a ton about cocktails by just sitting at this bar. Great for dates
- 4SqR Expert M BoudreauNovember 3, 2012Columbia Heights has the number -- take a “cozy” zinc-topped wine bar, add a large patio and serve “excellent, inventive” Eclectic small plates paired with “fabulous” wines
- EaterApril 25, 2013Despite a major expansion, Room 11 still remains intimate, but now that they've taken over the former Jeans N Things space next door, Room 11 has an entire bar focused on aperitifs and digestifs.
- Scott KleinSeptember 7, 2013Had great anniversary on 9/1. Shawn is an awesome bartender. Made great sazeracs and corpse survivors. Will return for the drinks, the porkbelly and the kebobs. Actually, all the food is terrific.
- Jess et al are awesome, plus price is right. Put your faith in her and her staff and you will be satisfied. Less pretentious than other places in the city too.
- Kevin ArtsJanuary 11, 2015Small place that serves great new American food. The goat's milk cheesecake is one of the best desserts I've ever had.
- Brad ManzerDecember 13, 2011Try any of the mixed drinks - the bartenders won't lead you wrong! However, only go in groups of three or less - PERFECT for some wine and light fare alone.
- Claire ShriverJanuary 19, 2013Exact to wait but exact good food and an awesome atmosphere. Bring your plaid and converse to fit in with those at the bar. Awesome bonfire outside while you wait.
- Eric EmanuelsonJanuary 13, 2018Intimate space, looks like they have some outdoor areas when it’s nice out. The mulled (?) cider and cocktails were fantastic
- RyanMarch 15, 2015A great breakfast option with pies, biscuits, and other treats. A little on the slow side but you should be enjoying your morning anyway.
- Carsten SchmidtAugust 8, 2014Some of the best cocktails in the city. Plus, breakfast and lunch are also worth checking out especially the guava pastry
- Tobi DavisApril 8, 2012Do have the Half Smoke specialty cocktail. Vodka, grapefruit juice, ginger beer and chili bitters. Tasty!!
- Best quiet bar in DC. All the bartenders are mixologists. A true neighborhood joint, friendly easy going.
- Daniele CalabreseNovember 29, 2015Best in town, Great vibe. Try the grilled cheese sandwich love it and the risotto
- Anna JohnJune 2, 2012Since the majority of seating for this tiny joint is outside, I never have a problem getting a table where I can chill with my dog.
- Kylee CoffmanSeptember 9, 2011Brilliant cocktails in Columbia Heights. Small inside bar though, so go during off-peak hours.
- Ashley ROctober 11, 2014Great service and intimate environment with delicious food and cocktails. Risotto is terrific.
- If your goal for the night is to go home with a former Peace Corps volunteer or someone from the Midwest who majored in sociology, drink here.
- Grace HoAugust 19, 2012If u sit outside on the patio, try to stay away from the wood section where they house their rubbish bin. If u hate flies go inside. The food is a great though.
- John TaylorJanuary 5, 2015A perch at either bar at Room11 is one of the coolest and coziest places in D.C.
- BenjaminOctober 5, 2016Lentils with mackerel was amazing; omelette was good but comparatively generic
- The FeastJune 10, 2011The menu rotates, but the deconstructed cheesecake is a constant because of its well-earned popularity.
- Grab a stool at the amaro bar and try some Fernet, Zucca, or S. Maria.
- Mary Margaret McLeroyJanuary 16, 2010This place would be awesome if there was a hidden 2nd floor where you could sit down. Sparkling Chardonnay is amazing though!
- Bitches Who BrunchJanuary 12, 2014Bitches Who Brunch awarded Room 11 the Best Hipster Brunch of 2012!
