- Luke BornheimerOctober 10, 2014Tamales are delicious and sizable. Multiple (tasty) vegetarian options. If you eat in the restaurant, they bring you homemade tortilla chips and salsa, which both hit the spot. I'l definitely be back.
- Unstoppably delicious Mission classic. The plantain empanadas, the pozole, the burritos, the fajitas, and of course, the tamales. Long may it reign.

- Susan SuttonDecember 15, 2012They just changed owners (late 2012) and are now "The Roosevelt"-- the menu is way slimmed down and the decor de-cozified. Historic photos are gone.
- Augie SanchezMarch 7, 2010Order a platter but don't expect to finish if you order more food. The food is excellent and very satisfying!
- Go on a Friday to hear great live music by Diana Gameros!
