    Built in 1888 by Chicago architectural office of Burnham and Root the twelve story Rookery is considered the oldest standing high-rise in Chicago. The lobby was remodeled in 1905 by Frank L. Wright

    The exterior of The Rookery Building stood in as the police station which housed Eliot Ness's Treasury agents in The Untouchables (1987).
