- Fresh sushi grade fish. Good selection of Asian produce. Take-to-go bento boxes, and my favorite: the selection of cute rice and soup bowls in the back that are super cheap!

- Awesome sides for quick adds to a meal with rice, great bento boxes and onigiri and lovely fresh sashimi grade fish for at home poke bowls.
- When you don't want to go Japanese grocery shopping on an empty stomach, hit up Panya next door. Sure, there's a lot of the same stuff upstairs, but you'll feel better eating it in the cafe beforehand

- A lot of interesting Japanese goods packed into a small space. Affordable bento boxes, strange and colorful sweets, ume plums, weird jelly cups, etc. Design enthusiasts will freak at the packaging.

- I believe this is the biggest Japanese supermarket in Manhattan. They have everything from food to household items.
- infusiaMay 12, 2010find all sorts of kitchen knick knacks at the back of the store, chopsticks, mini clothes hanger. i love it for the ready to cook packets, selection of green tea and snack food.
- I come here once a week for fresh shishito peppers. Seriously. Also pokeys.
- Bento boxes are a steal. Choose something from the candy aisle for dessert and a drink from one of the cases. All under $10.
