If you have time you should explore Georgetown and find one of the area's many delightful non-chain cafés (Paul comes to mind only a block away). However, Starbucks is ubiquitous and always reliable!
The line can move really slowly at times, but as the upstairs area is one of the best study spots in Georgetown, it's worth it. Also, the night staff contains some of the friendliest baristas ever!
This store might look quite small upon first entering, but check upstairs for additional seating! A great area for quiet studying with free Wi-Fi, plus a fireplace!
Clean but busy. Upstairs is a man who is there throughout opening hours who yells at people for putting up their feet. "You wouldn't do this in another person's home, would you?" This is Starbucks....
NOTE the Santa Claus double that sits upstairs who likes to talk and talk and talk to you...proclaiming to hate rude people, but is constantly taking LOUD deep breaths and all kinds of other noises
The store itself is pretty filthy and the pastry case was just god awful. I work for Starbucks, so naturally I have an opinion. The staff was a grade C in customer service. Quality in drinks, D.
Rude staff, they get your order wrong and have the nerve to say I asked for something else, no customer service skills. Amazed Starbucks lets this happen with all the similar comments.
This is probably one of the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I just stood in line for 15 mins only to find out they were out of lemonade, which isn't surprising.
