    Completely free! And classy souvenirs. Wonderful piece of history with easy-to-understand signs. While the garden isn't as grand as Dumbarton Oaks, it certainly is less crowded (and free).

    Said to be Washington DC’s oldest surviving building. The materials used for the house are comprised of local quarried materials and ballast stones that came off English sailing vessels.
