Its a really pretty place to be, and cool spot for a picnic! Beautiful view in a prime locations by angels Flights, Water Gardens, and Grand Central Market among other locations!

This tiny little park is a refreshing change of scenery in the heart of downtown. As long as you don't buy into the movie's hype, you'll enjoy this little treat.

Take the stairs. You'll be so happy to sit on a bench when you get to the top.

The plaque is no longer on the bench--probably removed by vandals or the vagrants who frequent the park. The bench is recognizable by the brackets that are still on the backrest.

This park closes at 8pm during the summer and 5pm during the winter.

This was the park where they filmed a scene from 500 Days of Summer. Sadly it was closed when I visited! Not sure when they will reopen it.
