How can you not love them: free morning coffee, evening wine, cosy bathrobes, yoga Matt and channel AND $10 'raid the minibar' voucher!
I lived in this hotel for a month. It's a nice, boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly. The gym isn't great & it's annoying that you have to go to the lobby for your morning coffee.

C JAugust 30, 2014Overall the hotel is nice. The room was ok, as you can tell that they modernize an old hotel. The walls very thin, as I could hear the neighbors very well & the outlets are all on one room side.

Great family friendly hotel in the heart of Chicago - love the FREE happy hour (5-6pm) every night - all employees are super nice and very hospitable - I would definitely stay here again

Matthew GordonSeptember 28, 2019Room was dirty (e.g. hair on the sink). Walls are paper thin. But, it was right next to the concert venue and the staff are friendly. So it’s got that going for it. I’d pass.
Make sure to join Kimpton rewards. $10 off mini bar. Complimentary wine from 5-7. Free wifi. Don't stay close to the elevator..noisy.

It's a nice idea a happy hour, but as Italian guest let me suggest to never ever serve any wine from a tetrapack: it looks so cheap. Good wines come in glass bottle, only.

Rooms are small and smell like ozone. But! Lots to do in the heart of the Loop, and the c.o.bigelow toiletries are stellar.

Diana GreshtchukJuly 14, 2010Everything extra is free because it's complicated. Free wifi makes you set up an unnecessary account, free breakfast takes forever and you get crappy service and elevators are impossible to catch.
The key cards are twitchy, so make sure to jiggle the door before you assume you need new keys.
