The first flight of concrete stairs is the scariest, it gets much better/more scenic after that. Hike all the way to Coit Tower!

Start at Coit Tower walk down the Greenwich steps and then up the Filbert steps. You can be up close and personal with the Telegraph Hill neighborhood, historic houses, gardens...

The Filbert Steps is like finding a forest in the middle of the city. Keep an eye out for the famous parrots of Telegraph Hill.
